Ans : a) is the correct option.
Solution :
In this question, the direction of current flow in the square could be taken as either in clockwise or anticlockwise direction. So the direction of magnetic field could be either into the plane of the square or coming out of the plane of the square due to current flow in all the four sides.
So, the magnetic field produced by each of the sides of the square at the centre will be same both in magnitude as well as direction.
We are here calculating the magnetic filed due to one side of the square at the centre and then multiplying it with four in order the get the total magnetic field at the centre due to all the four sides of the square.
We are here calculating the magnetic filed due to one side of the square at the centre and then multiplying it with four in order the get the total magnetic field at the centre due to all the four sides of the square.
Total Magnetic Field at the centre due to the current in the four side of the square
= 4×Magnetic field at the centre due to cureent in each side of the square
= 4×Magnetic field at the centre due to cureent in each side of the square
Hence, a) is the correct option.
